Alan Harnett

Biography

Allen is a sculptor and tutor of stone, Pounamu, bone, and shell.
He has been carving for 15 years and is based in Feilding.
His tutors were Clem Mellish, Norm Clark, Brian Flintoff, and his mentor Don Whiteman.
In 2001 Alan was awarded a Diploma in Jade and Hardstone Carving at Greymouth Polytechnic.
Alan receives inspiration from his culture, nature and simple forms.
